Rustic Wall Decor Inspiration

Wall space is AMAZING. It means more room for furniture, places to display art and decor, and more space to hang your favorite photos of your family! If you’re anything like me, your imagination probably runs wild thinking about all of the possibilities.

All of your options can be a little overwhelming — and I’m no exception! In our new apartment, we have several large, empty walls that I still need to style. I spent some time today looking at some inspiration for wall decor and wanted to share some of my favorites with you!

You can find the original sources for all of these photos in the links underneath each of them.

  • On the other side of this keyboard, I found something amazing.

REAL. AUTHENTIC. COMMUNITY.
✨
There is so much negativity + hurt that happens on social media. But there’s also so much good.
✨
Women getting open and vulnerable and cheering each other on even when things get tough.
✨
I’m so thankful to have found my tribe through building my coaching business. My people. My virtual BFFs. And I wouldn’t trade this gig for the world. 💖
  • Some days look like this. 👈🏻
—
I started a new program this week, and every single day I’ve been blown away by just how much 20 minutes can push me to new limits.
—
One workout from this week was ESPECIALLY hard. (Death by burpees, anyone?)
—
Like, tears in my eyes, tough. But I pushed through anyway. This journey is about so much more than just about pushing past physical barriers — it’s about overcoming the mental ones too 💗
—
And even though it was hard, even though it was late, even though every cell in my body was telling me to stop, I did it anyway 💪🏻
—
So take a second a look back on your own week — what tough moment have YOU overcome? ✨
  • If you’ve been following me for basically any amount of time, you know what my biggest struggle is... INSOMNIA! 😩💤
—
This year one of my resolutions is to finally conquer bedtime, once and for all! And a HUGE part of that has been establishing a sleepy time routine ✨🛏
—
Turning the lights down low, putting my phone away, opening a good book have all been a huge part of that — but my new favorite thing? This yummy @teamiblends RELAX tea that’s been helping me calm my mind and prep for a good night’s sleep. 😴
—
Adding this stuff to my night time routing has been a total game changer — and sipping from this freakin’ adorable baby pink tea tumbler is def a highlight! (YES, you can put hot tea in that thing! 🙌🏻)

@TeamiBlends is AMAZING and is giving my followers 15% off with my code “ALYSSAB15” 💗

They have TONS of amazing teas, and you better believe I’ll be trying ALL of them! 🙌🏻🍵

  • I so vividly remember being that girl on the right.
—
I was beyond spiraling out of control — I was trapped and gaining weight, and navigating the challenges of a postpartum body but with no baby to hold.
—
And yet, I’m not embarrassed for the girl on the right, and I don’t remember her with resentment. Instead, I’m proud of her. Because despite feeling like the walls were closing in on her, she made the decision to fight like hell.
—
This journey’s been a tough and uncertain one. But if there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that I wouldn’t change a single thing ❤️
  • My world came crashing down on April 28, 2016 when my beautiful baby girl was born still. The next year was a blur spent hiding from the world with the worst moments of my life playing on a loop inside my head.
✨
But then something clicked — I decided to live fully. For HER. I wanted to be the woman that Emma Rose would have been proud to have as a momma.
✨
And so, I put myself first — and as a result, I found healing through my health and wellness journey.
✨
If you’re in the midst of hardship or grief, working on yourself is probably the last thing you want to do. But I can assure you that IT IS WORTH IT, and you might just find healing along the way.
✨
I promise that the only thing you will regret is not starting sooner 💖

  • Wanna know the reason you haven’t started yet? I’ll give you a hint...

It’s not your finances.
It’s not your crazy schedule.
It’s not your current circumstances.
It’s not that it “just wouldn’t work” for you.
It’s not even your lack of motivation.
—
It’s YOU.
—
It’s time to stop watching, get out of your own way and JUST DO IT.
